I'm so ready for 2010. 2009 was not the best year for me-- so much drama and my grandma getting hospitalized while my parents were overseas did not equal a happy me. I even broke a violin. But a lot of good things happened too; me getting into MSA, getting to be front row at the An Cafe concert back in April (thanks Jae for giving me the money!), going to Warped Tour, getting out of middle school... and I've finally found people I 'click' with, getting back into bands (like girugamesh), finding even better music... (level 49 music terd!)

The sad thing is, the only thing that has stayed a constant in my life is music. If I lose music, I really will go insane. So thank you, my violin, the GazettE, Elyse, Jae, and everyone else that's helped me through 2009. I wouldn't have made it through without you guys.

Friends have changed, I think I've finally found people I can truly call friends now. Not like in middle school where there was always so much shit going on, and I could never know who my friend was or not. Middle school may have sucked, but I'm stronger now.

Bleh I sound like a fucking pitiful angsty teenager. No wonder my cousins like to call me emo so much. *shoots myself*

But still. I'm a different person now, me and all my retarded-ness. I'm going to move forward, and forget the old me, the Maggie that cut herself and cried herself to sleep. I'm going to try and find a new Maggie, one that can truly smile and just have fun, even if she gets pressured from family and school. I'm going to find a new me, and hopefully, she will be a better me than the old me.

So bring it, 2010. I fucking dare you too.

I'm pretty sure it's like 50 degrees here where I'm living, but I will bitch about the cold anyways, since I am from sunny old California.

Thanks to the cold though, my left hand is almost to the point of freezing. I took a shower, and I thought something horrible had happened, since my hand was FREEZING. (Like when you put on Icy Hot) I think this just goes to show a person how crappy my circulation is, and that playing the violin in the winter will be hard. Great.

School's been.... and ordeal, I guess. I'm getting closer to new people, which is what I had aimed for, yet, as a result, further away from old friends. I still talk to Jae lots, even if she goes to a school in a different city. I'm good friends with a girl exactly like her, except I knew her (and her little brother) through violin, we both play as 2nd 'oboe' in band.

I might be friends with her because I see a shadow of Jae , but I hope not, because Faye is a good friend in her own way, and because we both play the violin, we can talk about things like that that I usually can't talk to Jae about , but, Jae is a sister to me, just like how I'm Kaitlyn's 'sister'.
But, Kaitlyn's biological twin, Devon, is.......... Annoying. With a capital A. She likes to 'glomp' people (not me, I don't like those things, I usually freak out, which I did when she tried to glomp me. Never happened again.), which isn't a good idea, because she isn't the thinnest person around. Plus she carries her fat backpack when she glomps people, and she almost knocked Faye out.

Oh, did I mention she likes to stalk us and is way overbearing? *fume*

She needs to grow up. I don't care if she's 'special' (She is, but I'm going to respect her privacy and not say anything), she is a drama queen and needs to learn how to deal with life. I don't give a shit how she's so fat and how everyone hates her, she is not overly fat, it's just that she's short. No one hates her (yet, at this rate a list will start forming, with me, Faye, Katie, and Megan at the top...) so she needs to realize that she's still just a freshman, she knows practically no one at our school, and really needs to stop obsessing over Full Metal Alchemist.

And making insulting comments, especially about a person's taste in music/lyrics. She asked to draw 'fan art' for a friend of mine, to a song, and my friend gave her a song about a transsexual vocaloid. (I don't get it either) and she flipped. I was going to flip, I was so insulted. I had to leave, although the people I usually hang with's group has grown, and they've just gotten a bit boring/overbearing.... I liked it when it was just a few of us, I guess.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE.

Kaitlyn, Faye, Ruthe, and I are going to the mall tomorrow, since we all want to go shopping!!! :D

And I didn't do horribly on my band test!!! *party*

Oh, and I have a week off. Then a normal week of school, before Dead Week, then SEMESTER FINALS. Woo hoo.

Bad thing-- A junior at my school died on Wednesday night of Cystic Fibrosis, her name was Ana Alegria. I didn't know her personally, but my friend Kat knew her, and I feel horrible. I would never want to see my friend in a casket, it's something no one should go though. I feel sick to my stomach thinking about it, she was so young, and had her whole life ahead of her. She was in MSA, the program I'm in, and I'll never begin to realize how much pain Kat and her friends are going through, so Ana, I may not have known you, but rest in peace. You will forever be remembered by your friends and family.

Good thing-- I went to a soiree earlier tonight, and saw so many good performances. The MSA program (which I am proudly in) at my school is truly something to be proud of, everyone is awesome. I had a lot of fun, and after wards, Kaitlyn, Kevin, her family, and I went to Baskin Robbins to have some ice cream. I was called the sixth wheel by Kevin cause he's mean.

Before that, Kaitlyn just had to make fun of me... all because of one measly comment on facebook. DX

For some reason, I seem really tired.

I just got over a cold (it was like a small case of Bronchitis.. :-/)

School's hella fun. I love high school, it really fits me. And my friends are awesome, we have a lot of fun together :) And what's best is that there's NO DRAMA. Best phrase ever! I've pretty much like ditched my middle school drama-filled friends for new ones plus some I knew before ;O I feel horrible, but I still talk to them. I just couldn't take all the talk about the boys. IT WAS GOING TO DRIVE ME UP THE WALL.

For some reason, I have like a lot of guy friends. I always have, except, the testosterone level has like risen lately... Dx In health, I'm in a group consisting of four guys, and me, the lone girl for our Public Service Announcement on PCP which amuses me greatly.


Musically, I've been doing better than ever. I'm getting better at my violin, and the ear training plus theory really helps. I'm going to a band festival, the Analy Band Wagon Fest in Sebastapool, and then to Petaluma after for filming the PSA. I'll be hella busy!
My sister is going to be shadowing me next Thursday, I honestly don't see her as a Novato High person, she's not really eccentric enough... :-/ It's up to her, she's going to have to work her ass off to get in though, it takes a lot of hard work, blood sweat and tears. I should know...
My pinky's somewhat deformed on my left hand now due to playing so much.

BEFORE I DECAY is a pretty chill song, good for headbanging, even if it is repetitive. I love Crying Rain by Girugamesh, Satoshi's voice is wonderful.

My English teacher. Honestly, I can't stand her. No one can, she makes Honors English a joke, I though it was supposed to be a hard class.
All we do is talk.


Plus, she's a blonde valley girl.

I mean, seriously.

Well, I just came back from watching 9 with a bunch of my friends, and it was an ok movie :) 

I missed Elyse, I never get to see her since we go to schools on different sides of town :( She wants to transfer to my school though, since she thinks SM is a hell hole (and I agree, I disliked that school immensely when I shadowed there last spring.)

What I don't really like about my school, though, is the fact that it's made me drift away from some of my friends. I mean, it was bound to happen, but when I hang with them before school and stuff, I've noticed recently is that all they do is talk about GUYS. I mean, it's okay to from time to time, but daily seriously makes me want to shoot myself. And it's not like we do anything really fun. When I hang with my more 'eccentric' friends, we do all sorts of stuff.... I love it <3

But on a lighter note, there is an Anime and Manga Club forming at our school, and I've been made treasurer... Only on paper though, since we don't really need those. But I really like hanging with my friends there, because we all have a common interest... and all we do is steal eachother's lunches and draw. It's very relaxing.


Well, that's how my first month at schools been, I hope the rest of the year gets better....

I'm not taking PE this year, instead, I'll be making that up by taking 2 seasons of either golf or tennis. Now I take 1st period Latin, and 5th period Biology. Latin's interesting, but hard cuz I started a week late....

My bio teacher, Mr. Dick is crazy. My honors Eng teach is a valley girl and runs 50 miles a week. My health teacher looks like my classmate. My geometry teacher is weird. My swim PE teacher is hot, but I'm transferring out of that class. My band teacher IS AWESOME. I LEARNED SO MUCH TODAY.

But yes, I got lost on the way to geometry Novato High is 4x as big as Sinaloa. I have no one I know other than this really weird kid in my PE class which is full of weirdos. In the rest of them, THERE ARE LIKE NO FRESHMEN.\

My iTunes account was deleted because I crashed the Windows XP program on the Dell and my cousin had to change it to Linux and now I can't use iTunes and the whole library was deleted and I'm going to cry cause I'm so frusturated and now I have to re-download everything onto my iTunes account on the HP *cry*
